Terms and Conditions
The following terms and conditions are accepted by both Buyer and Seller. No other terms and conditions shall have effect unless agreed in writing by both Parties.
DEFINITIONS In these terms and conditions “the Seller” or “the Company” means Your Salon Store, or any successor in title or assignee including any subsidiary or associated company and “the Buyer” means the Purchaser of goods from the Seller under these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions shall be the only terms of contract made between the Seller and the Buyer to the exclusion of any other terms and conditions that the Buyer may wish to rely upon.

Catalogue Prices Prices are correct at the time of catalogue printing but are subject to alteration without prior notice. Unless otherwise stated, all prices are exclusive of VAT at ruling rates and delivery costs.
Website Prices Prices and special offers are correct at the time of the goods being displayed on the website but are subject to alteration without prior notice. All Prices are exclusive of VAT, at ruling rates, and delivery costs. The price of your order will be confirmed prior to taking payment. If an error is discovered in pricing of the goods you have ordered, the seller will inform the buyer of this error and will be given the option of buying the product at the correct price or cancelling the order.
Special Offers All offers are subject to stock availability and can be removed at any time at the discretion of the seller.
VAT Free Promotions VAT free cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotion. We reserve the right to exclude any brand from promotion without prior notice. Discount is applied on qualifying terms in the VAT free promotion which is equal to VAT free. To comply with applicable law we must still charge and show VAT. VAT is still applied to the order at the current rate but the discount applied is equivalent to not paying VAT. The VAT free discount is available only on special promotion days as displayed on our homepage. Items are subject to availability and while stocks last. The VAT Free discount cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotions, including bulk buy savings, special discounts, multibuy offers, furniture promotions, retrospective discounts or sale/clearance items. The following are excluded from the VAT free discount: BC Softwear, evo, Carlton, ghd, Moroccanoil and Olaplex.
PAYMENT Payment is due to the Company in full at time of order, prior to despatch of goods, if a credit account is not held. Payment is due in full 30 days from date of invoice where a credit account agreement exists. Subsequent orders will not be dispatched whilst a balance is outstanding. Cancelled or returned cheques will be subject to a £25 administration fee chargeable to the customer, per returned cheque.
CREDIT ACCOUNT When a credit account exists the Company reserves the right to amend credit charges, to withdraw the credit agreement, to reject an application, to reject orders or with prior notice to close an account.
OVERDUE ACCOUNTS After 40 days a surcharge of 4% will be charged on the gross amount overdue levied on a daily basis. The account will be reverted to a cash account.
SPECIAL ORDERS A 50% deposit will be required on all special order items. The deposit is non refundable with the outstanding balance due for payment prior to despatch of goods. Alteration to or cancellation of a special order item cannot be accepted and the outstanding payment will be due in full. Payment for custom made or bespoke goods will be charged in full at the time you place your order.
CLAIMS Claims for loss or damage to goods in transit cannot be accepted unless the Seller is advised within 48 hours of receipt of goods in the case of damage. The Seller must be informed, in writing, within 7 days from date of invoice in the case of loss. The Company will not entertain claims made outside the stated time limits.
Goods ordered in error or not as expected
When goods have been ordered in error or are not as expected, the Company may agree to their return on the following conditions:
- A request must be made to Your Salon Store on 0345 201 0825 within seven days of receipt of goods to request an authorisation number
- The item you wish to return is in original condition, unused and in its original packaging. The item must be returned fully boxed to ensure there is no damage in transit to the item or to its original packaging.
- Special order or non-standard items cannot be returned.
- Goods which are given free, as part of an offer, are not exchangeable or refundable, unless the full offer is returned, subject to normal conditions.
- It is the responsibility of the Buyer to arrange for the return carriage.
- It is the responsibility of the Buyer to ensure that the returned goods are adequately packed to avoid damage in transit. Goods returned not in original packaging and in poor condition will not be refunded.
- If the item is returned to the Seller in a saleable condition then a credit will be applied to your account within five working days of receipt of goods minus an administrative charge of 10% of the value of the item. Carriage charges will not be refunded.
- If the item is received in a non-saleable condition then the Seller will inform the Buyer that no credit will be made.
Missing or Incorrect items
- If we have made an error with your order or you believe an item is missing or an item sent is incorrect we will make every effort to arrange a credit or for a replacement item to be sent to you. We will not charge administration or postage charges for these items. No goods will be accepted back without a returns authorisation number. If incorrect goods have been received then the buyer will only be entitled to a refund on the item purchased. The buyer will not be charged delivery costs for the correct product.The Buyer has 7 days from original receipt of goods to return the incorrect items.
The item you wish to return is in original condition, unused and in its original packaging. The item must be returned fully boxed to ensure there is no damage in transit to the item or to its original packaging.
We recommend for your own protection you obtain proof of posting / receipt and appropriate insurance from the carrier. The Company cannot accept responsibility or liability for lost or damaged parcels. You the customer have a duty of care for the product whilst it is in your possession. If products are damaged by you and subsequently returned, no refund will be made. Collections can be arranged via our carrier. Please call for a quotation.

- If you think an item is faulty please contact us for advice on 0345 201 0825 before returning the item. Faulty items must be accompanied by a proof of purchase. Any faulty goods returned within 30 days of purchase with minimal wear and accompanied by a proof of purchase will be exchanged for an identical item or refund.
- Any faulty goods returned more than 30 days from purchase and accompanied by a proof of purchase may be sent for repair, replaced or refunded at our discretion. Where a fault or the cause of a fault is not apparent we reserve the right to send the item for testing before deciding on any action to be taken.
- The Buyer is responsible for the return postage cost, proof of posting receipt must be included with the returned goods. The postage cost will be refunded by the Seller to the postage value in goods.
- Special order or non-standard items cannot be returned. The Seller is unable to accept returns of certain items for hygiene reasons. Excluded items include cuticle and nail nippers, manicure & pedicure implements, scissors, tweezers, electrolysis needles, ear piercing equipment, earrings, equipment and accessories that have been used. This list is not exhaustive. Additionally, returns of products which have been opened or any other chemical product will not be accepted. These restrictions are for the benefit of all of our customers and mean all goods supplied are new, and direct from the manufacturer. Your Statutory Rights are not affected.
Orders will be processed and despatched subject to credit card / payment details and address details being correct. We try to deliver the goods in accordance with the delivery times and charges set out below. Delivery timings are given in good faith and Your Salon Store can accept no responsibility for transport delays or circumstances outside of our control causing late delivery. We shall be under no liability for any delay or failure to deliver products if the delay or failure is wholly or partly caused by circumstances beyond our control. Neither Your Salon Store or their designated courier will accept claims for consequential loss due to late delivery. Delivery will be to the address confirmed in your order. If no-one is available to accept the parcel at a residential or other address at the time of delivery, our couriers reserve the right to deliver your goods to an immediate neighbour, unless special instructions were given at time of order.
Your Salon Store is not liable for delayed, missing or damaged parcels/contents if a delivery signature has not been obtained where the parcel has been left in a designated safe place at your request. If you choose to have your order delivered to a location you deem as safe then the liability transfers to you.
A note will be left confirming delivery had been attempted which will advise if your order has been delivered to a neighbour or returned to the courier depot and the course of action you need to take to receive your goods. Orders over £50 net value will be FREE DELIVERY (UK mainland excluding Northern Ireland)*. Excluding heavy items and college kits. Our standard charge for orders under £50 is £4.95 plus VAT for most parts of the UK mainland excluding Northern Ireland. Northern Ireland, The Channel Islands, Offshore islands, Highlands, Scottish Islands and certain areas of the UK may vary according to the size and weight of the parcel. Delivery charges will be quoted when ordering. If ordering online the delivery charges will be shown in your basket. Delivery prices shown or quoted exclude VAT. Free delivery and standard delivery charges exclude large & heavy items. Delivery charges for large and heavy items will be quoted at time of order. On certain goods, including large or heavy items, equipment, furniture, special order items or items coming direct from manufacturer (this list is not exhaustive) delivery lead time of 4-10 weeks may apply, this will be advised at the time of ordering. Pallet deliveries will be to kerb side. Charges for assisted delivery can be quoted on request. All Pallet deliveries are 2 to 3 working days. Free delivery and standard delivery charges exclude special order items. Delivery charges for special order items will be quoted at time of order. Normal delivery days are Monday to Friday. Delivery times exclude weekends.
Orders received by 2pm (UK time) from Monday to Thursday will be despatched the same day for next day delivery. Next day delivery is only available to mainland UK. Next day delivery only applies to items that are in stock. Next day delivery does not apply to items that are sent direct from the supplier, furniture, large heavy items and student kits. Standard deliveries to Highlands, Islands, Northern Ireland and areas outside County Dublin may take up to 2- 3 working days longer. Delivery charges and timescales vary depending on the type of products ordered, the service you select and the delivery address. The courier will only attempt to deliver your goods three times. The courier will leave a note including your unique delivery number and instructions to request an alternative delivery date. After three failed delivery attempts, your goods will be returned to our courier’s depot and then to Your Salon Store. Please be aware you will be charged £15 administration fee for non-delivery following three attempts. If you require your goods to be re-delivered after they have been returned to Your Salon Store you will be charged our standard delivery charge of £4.95 or your original delivery charge quoted at time of ordering. All risk in the products you order (including risk of loss and/or damage to the products) shall pass to you when they are delivered to the delivery address specified in your order. Seasonal and promotional periods: due to the increase in courier demand, please be aware that we may not be able to guarantee our next day delivery service. If you have any questions about this, or require your order urgently, please give our customer service team a call on 0345 201 0825. *Exclusions apply.
EXPORT: Your Salon Store are happy to accept orders from anywhere in the world. Please be aware that carriage will vary on destination and weight of parcel. Carriage will be quoted at the end of your order. Full payment will be required by BACS or electronic transfer prior to despatch. For more information on placing an order for overseas delivery, please contact Your Salon Store on 0345 201 0825. Delivery of overseas orders may be affected due to political conflicts, such as war, civil unrest, martial law (this list is not exhaustive). When ordering goods from Your Salon Store for delivery outside the United Kingdom you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the goods reach the specified destination. Any additional charges for Customs clearance must be paid by you; Your Salon Store has no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. If you are ordering goods from outside the United Kingdom, it is your responsibility to comply with all the laws and regulations in the country in which you are receiving the goods.
FORCE MAJEURE: The company shall be entitled to cancel or delay delivery of orders if it is delayed, hindered or prevented from delivery through circumstances beyond its control. Such circumstances shall include (but are not limited to) industrial action, accident, fire, terrorism, Act of God or failure to deliver by suppliers or carriers.
CANCELLATION: Prior to despatch, cancellation will only be accepted on the following terms. 10% handling charge on standard items. Special order non-standard items such as specialised equipment, furniture or salon wear cannot be cancelled and payment must be made in full. Cancellation after despatch cannot be accepted.
ALTERATIONS: Any changes to orders must be confirmed in writing by the Buyer and agreed in writing by the Seller. Alterations cannot be made to special orders.
GENERAL: All goods are subject to availability. The Buyer warrants that the goods will be used for professional use only. Goods are sold on the understanding that they will only be used for their intended purpose. Goods are not supplied on a sale or return basis. The Company shall have no liability to the Buyer for goods damage which have been caused by incorrect installation by the Buyer or its agents or if the goods have been tampered with or have had parts added to them which are not original and/or have not been authorised by the Company or the manufacturer. No responsibility will be accepted by Your Salon Store for damage or injury resulting from accidental misuse by untrained personnel without qualified supervision. All offers and promotions are subject to stock availability and we reserve the right to restrict or refuse any order. We also reserve the right to obtain credit information where necessary. Fragile items including glass or mirror and consumable items including neon lights or bulbs should be inspected immediately upon receipt and any defects should be notified to the Seller within 48 hours of receipt. Failure to do so will invalidate the Buyer’s warranty rights for these components. Kit contents may vary.
The Company’s total liability for any claims, however arising, shall not exceed the price of the goods supplied by the Company to the Buyer which are the subject matter of that claim. The Company shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss including but not limited to loss of business and/or loss of goodwill whether the loss arises from the Company’s negligence or breach of duty in contract or in any other way. The Seller and Buyer do not intend that any of these terms and conditions shall be enforceable by virtue of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 by any person other than the Seller and Buyer or any company within the Seller’s group of companies. The Seller may assign its rights under these terms and conditions. The Buyer has no reciprocal rights of assignment. Any dispute or claim shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the Seller and Buyer agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. RETENTION OF TITLE CAUSES: The risk in all goods passes to the Buyer upon delivery but title in the goods remains vested in Your Salon Store, and shall only pass from the Company to the Buyer upon full payment being made of all sums including any charges, applicable delivery fees and charges for re-delivery (due on whatsoever account or grounds) to Your Salon Store and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction. The Buyer agrees that prior to the payment of the whole price of the goods, Your Salon Store, or appointed agents may enter the Buyer’s premises to collect such goods should the seller request. Prior to such payment, the Buyer shall keep the goods separate and identifiable for the purpose, and return the goods to the Seller at the Buyer's expense immediately should the Seller request.
GUARANTEE: All items are guaranteed according to the manufacturer’s warranty and warranty conditions. Certain restrictions apply, please ask for more details. All glass items are specifically excluded from this guarantee. This guarantee does not apply to damage caused through fire, accident, misuse, fair wear and tear, neglect or any attempt at repair or adjustment other than by our Service Department. Failure to comply with the conditions of the warranty will invalidate your capacity to rely upon the guarantee. Where a claim is made on a guarantee it must be accompanied by the original receipt of purchase. All warranties, conditions and other terms implied by statute or common law are, to the fullest extent permitted by law, excluded from all orders for goods supplied by the Seller to the Buyer. The Company does not attempt to exclude its liability for death or personal injury caused by its negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation.
CALL MONITORING: Telephone calls may sometimes be monitored or recorded for training purposes to aid our staff with the aim of improving our service to our customers.
CALL CHARGES: Calls to our 0345 number are charged the same rate as calling a 01 and 02 landline number. Call charges will vary depending on your telephone service provider and your call plan.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS: We take care to show correct descriptions, colours, sizes and specifications. We do not warrant that product information or other content are accurate, complete, reliable or error free. Content is given as a guide, in good faith, and as such are subject to alteration by the Seller without notice. Please note images are for illustration purposes only. If a product offered by us is not as described, your sole remedy is to return the product in an unused condition in accordance with our returns policy.
PRODUCT AVAILABILITY: All products are subject to stock availability. If we have insufficient stock to fulfil the order we may, at our option, send a carefully selected substitute, alternatively, any sum debited to your credit card will be re-credited to your account and we will notify you by e-mail at the address given by you in your registration form. The refund will be made as soon as possible after such notification and in any event within thirty days of receipt of your order. We will not be obliged to offer any additional compensation for disappointment suffered. Stock is allocated on a first come first served basis once your order is received. The Seller does not guarantee the availability of any item.
TRADE ONLY: Your Salon Store operates exclusively as a wholesaler. It does not sell directly to the general public. It does not deal with consumer sales. All sales are to the trade. All products and product information either on the website or in the Your Salon Store catalogue are intended for qualified professional beauty therapists, nail technicians and other professionals associated with the beauty industry and are for sale on a strictly business to business basis. Customers should be competent in using the products sold. Your Salon Store will not be held responsible for any injury or damages in unqualified users of these products. We reserve the right to ask for proof of professional qualifications and refuse the order if we believe the person not to be a trade customer. As a business user, it is your responsibility to ensure that you and your employees are insured for products that you are using. Products are not intended for sale to members of the general public. By placing an order with Your Salon Store you are confirming that you are not a Consumer for the purposes of the Consumer Credit legislation and for the Purposes of Sale of Goods legislation and that you are in business and purchasing the goods for the purpose of that business and not for personal use.

Your on-line account: If you shop on or use our website, www.yoursalonstore.com you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer to prevent unauthorised access to your account. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account and all passwords. If you believe that your password has become known to anyone else, you must inform us immediately. To place an order on this web site, you must be a trading entity (or a professional beauty therapist) and over the age of 16 years otherwise you are not entitled to complete the on-line registration required to place an order. We reserve the right to refuse service, terminate accounts or cancel orders at our discretion. If the Seller cancels an order the Buyer will not be charged. When you place an on-line order to purchase an item from Your Salon Store, we will send you an email confirming receipt of your order and confirming the details of your order. Your order represents an offer to purchase a product which is accepted by us when we despatch that product to you. That acceptance will be complete at the time the Seller despatches the product to the Buyer. Any products on the same order which are not despatched, do not form part of that contract.
WEB CONTENT: All content and software included on our website is the property of Your Salon Store or our suppliers. You may not extract or reuse all or part of the contents of the website without the written consent of Your Salon Store. We grant you limited licence to access and make personal use of this website, but not to download or modify it, or any portion of it except with the written consent of Your Salon Store. This licence does not include any resale or commercial use of this website or its contents, any downloading or copying of account information for the benefit of another seller. Neither this website nor any part of it may be reproduced, duplicated, copied, sold, re-sold, visited or otherwise exploited for any commercial or non-commercial purpose without the consent of Your Salon Store.
SOCIAL MEDIA Your Salon Store reserves the right to use any comments posted on any of our social media pages in marketing materials. Any comments which we deem to have threatening, harassing, abusive, obscene, offensive, discriminatory, sexual, unlawful or profane tone will be removed and the user concerned will be blocked from all Your Salon Store social media pages.
PRIVACY: Your Salon Store are committed to protecting your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you lawfully (in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018). Your Salon Store will collect information for two reasons: to process your order and to provide you with the best possible service. By registering with yoursalonstore.com you agree to our terms and conditions. Please note, we take your privacy very seriously and do not share your information with any third parties. We will give you the chance to refuse marketing/email communication from us in accordance with the Data Protection Act and will not share your details with any third parties for marketing purposes.
WASTE ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC REGULATIONS 2013:
WEEE regulations (2013) ensure that the amount of waste on certain and electronic equipment is reduced, separated from household waste, collected separately and ultimately disposed of in a sound environmental manner (recycled and recovered). The Buyer agrees that the collection, recovery/treatment and disposal of non-household Electrical or Electronic Equipment purchased from the Seller will be the Buyer’s responsibility. To the extent that Applicable Law permits, the responsibility for and the costs of compliance with the WEEE Regulations shall rest with the Buyer. The Buyer shall indemnify the Seller on demand and keep the Seller indemnified from and against all costs, expenses, damage or other losses incurred or suffered, demands or proceedings made against the Seller arising from a breach by the Buyer of this Condition.
WAIVER: No failure or delay by a party to exercise any right or remedy provided under this agreement or by law shall constitute a waiver of that or any other right or remedy, nor shall it prevent or restrict the further exercise of that or any other right or remedy. No single or partial exercise of such right or remedy shall prevent or restrict the further exercise of that or any other right or remedy.
THIRD PARTY RIGHTS: A person who is not a party to his agreement shall not have any rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 to enforce any term of this agreement, but this does not affect any right or remedy of a third party which exists, or is available, apart from that Act.
JURISDICTION: These terms and conditions and all contracts entered into under them are governed by and are to be construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales in relation to any contract entered into under these terms and conditions.
